KID’Z SUPERHERO BOLT: Gadsden

The Gadsden YMCA is proud to present the first 14 and under kids only 5-K Course and 1 mile run. But, what makes it even more enticing is that the kids participating in the races get to dress up as their favorite super-heroes. The KID’Z Superhero BOLT will be held throughout downtown Gadsden on April 19th with a start at the YMCA. Race Director Kim Richee says the race will be fun for kids with lots of race and post-race activities. Richee says if parents are worried about the children running by themselves…They are more than welcome to join in the fun. All the children who race receive a finisher’s medal. But, they also have individual age group awards and door prizes. If you are interested and would like more information you can register at kidssuperherobolt.com or at the YMCA in Gadsden. The course is on the website. Although, race organizers are hoping for more than 200 runners to register - If you don’t get the chance to register - They will make accommodations for whoever comes.
