Two Men Arrested in Etowah County for Burglary

Two men are accused in a burglary and theft investigation in Etowah County. 26-year-old Bennett Lee Wesson of Attalla, is charged with one count of third degree burglary, which is a felony and 44-year-old Christopher George Salster of Gadsden, is charged with one count of second degree receiving stolen property, also a felony. According to Etowah County Sheriff Todd Entrekin, Wesson and Salster broke into a storage building, in November 2014, located behind a residence on Vickey Lane in Boaz. The victim noticed the burglary and reported it to the Sheriff’s Office in January 2015. Several firearms and a violin were reported stolen. Wesson is being detained in the Etowah County Detention Center on $2,500 bond. Salster was booked into the detention center and later released on a $2,500 bond.
