PV's Bean, Lewiski and Oxford's Banks Sign Scholarships

Friday, April 24, 2015

As the school year comes to a close, local senior athletes are rounding out the signing class of 2015. On Thursday, three more signed scholarships to make their college decisions official.

At Pleasant Valley a pair of guys made school history. Dalton Bean (RB) and Drew Lewiski (QB) signed football scholarships with LaGrange College in Georgia. The two become the first football signees in the history of the Raider program.

It seems fitting that the first two football signees in school history head off to the same college and reestablish the bond on the next level.

Meanwhile at Oxford High School, Kaylan Banks secured his future on the track. Banks was one of the Yellow Jackets top sprinters on both the indoor and outdoor teams. Today he signed to run at Montevallo. You can hear from all three signees in the featured video.
