Patrick Simms Case to be Relocated

The case against former Etowah County CEO Patrick Simms will be turned over to the next Chambers County Grand Jury, that’s according to Chambers County Assistant District Attorney Rowland Sledge. Simms was named as a suspect in a case involving the sexual abuse of a child under the age of 12, which allegedly occurred on or around February 8th of this year. Simms surrendered to investigators in Chambers County on February 19th – where he was booked on that charge, and released on bond later that same day.
