A traffic stop for speeding turns up more than 390 grams of synthetic marijuana. Monday, a K-9 Officer made a traffic stop for speeding at the intersection of Cherokee County Roads 101 and 390. The Deputy recognized one of the four occupants of the vehicle, Michael Sprayberry, who was wanted for non-support. The deputy got consent to search the vehicle and found 390 grams of "spice", along with cash. 31-year-old Reginald Sandridge, 25-year-old Renardo Sandridge, 31-year-old Michael Sprayberry and 32-year-old Jennifer Tierce of Centre were all transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center. They remain in the detention center awaiting a bond hearing on charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and second degree unlawful possession of marijuana.
