Blue Bell Speaks About Resent Recalls

According to the Centers for Disease Control ten people in four states have fallen ill from bacteria linked to products from Blue Bell Creameries. Three of them died. Texas-based Blue Bell decided to pull all its products last week after tests showed some half-gallon containers of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream contained listeria. The origin of the strain is still unknown. The C-D-C recommends consumers do not eat any Blue Bell brand products. According to Sylacauga Plant manager Kevin Wood, the Blue Bell Creameries plant in Sylacauga is still working to sanitize the building. No tainted products came from the plant in Sylacauga. Joe Robertson who is with Blue Bell Creameries Advertising and Public Relations says they are making progress to resume production and get their products to the store shelves as quick as possible. Robertson says although they are not 100-percent sure of the timeline….He says it is going to be a few more weeks before you see their product on the shelves, again.
