Department of Justice Visits Jacksonville City Schools

Two attorneys from the U-S Department of Justice make a visit to Jacksonville City Schools to gather information about school systems in Alabama. Two weeks ago the Department of Justice made a site visit to Kitty Stone Elementary and Jacksonville High School. Jacksonville City Schools Superintendent Dr, Jon Campbell says the visit was not related to a complaint about the location of the new elementary school. According to Campbell, as of now, the complaint is invalid. Campbell says the general contractor has made a lot of progress on the construction of the new school. He says the school system is looking forward to seeing concrete poured within the next month.
