Law Enforcement and Pastors Work as the First Responders for Christ

Saturday, May 2, 2015

An organization that encourages first responders to go beyond the typical call of duty is expanding its influence. First Responders For Christ reaches out to local churches in the counties of Calhoun, Cleburne, Etowah, and Marshall and has created new and beneficial relationships with local Pastors.  First Responders For Christ and their ministry partners meet the needs - whether they are food, diapers, or even a grass cutting.  They uncover the need and the church administers the help.  Calhoun County Director Sergeant Brett Lloyd says the focus of the ministry is to build a network of churches concerned with helping more people. First Responders For Christ will be conducting a ministry presentation on Monday, May 4th at  6:30PM at the Calhoun County Volunteer Fire Association meeting at the Jacksonville Community Center.  If you would like to know more about the ministry like them on their Facebook page at First Responders for Christ.
