Georgia Woman Charged With Drug Possession

A Calhoun Georgia woman is charged with possession of controlled substance and false identity to obstruct justice. According to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s office, Aleasha Deyoung tried to hide drugs on juveniles in her vehicle after a Deputy stopped her for a traffic violation.  She was arrested for giving the Deputy a false name to obstruct justice and charged with chemical endangerment of a child after the juveniles in her vehicle gave officers drugs that she had given them to hide on their body.  Deyoung is currently being held in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
