Local School Creates Living Museum

One local school participates in an activity that incorporates historical tools, activities and dress into a live presentation that seeks to give students a sense of stepping back in time. White Plains Elementary School’s living history museum is an educational tool used to educate students in areas of Alabama history like clothing styles, pastimes and handicrafts. Today, the students exhibited their research projects through biographical posters and period dress. The students present their research to their classmates as part of the project.
