A bill that was part of the House Republican Caucus’s “Alabama First” legislative agenda that G-O-P lawmakers announced at the start of the regular session was signed into law.  Last Thursday, the “Student Religious Liberties Act” sponsored by State Representative Mack Butler of Rainbow City became law as Governor Robert Bentley affixed his signature to the measure in a signing ceremony that coincided with the National Day of Prayer.
