Toyota, Nissan Recall Cars Affected By Faulty Airbag Systems
Toyota and Nissan have recalled six-and-a-half million more cars because of potentially faulty airbags. The airbags were made by the Japanese company TAKATA. TAKATA airbags are the reason why tens of millions of cars have been recalled recently. It’s feared the airbags can explode and send shrapnel flying at drivers and passengers. At least five deaths have since been linked to the malfunctioning airbags. The cars involved in this recall were made between 2003 and 2007.
