A local library that is on the National Register of Historic Places is going to get a much needed renovation to its outside starting June 1st. Among the list of renovation work the The Hoyt Warsham Alabama City Public Library will receive are a new roof, carpentry work, and other improvements. The library will be boxing up their books into 430 boxes. Scott says programs offered by the Alabama City branch will continue at the main location on College Street. All programs and materials will be available at either the East Gadsden branch or the main library.
