Reading To The Rhythm

Patrons of the Anniston-Calhoun County Public Library got as treat today with a unique kick-off celebration for the Adult Summer Reading Program. The theme for this year's reading program is "Reading to the Rhythm" - so the library added a little rhythm to everyone's reading today with a performance by local Bluegrass band - Valley Road. Library Director, Teresa Kiser, says that the musical theme will carry over throughout the entire month of June. The Adult Summer Reading Program runs through June 30th and participants have the opportunity to win some prizes like an iPAD Mini2, a Kindle Fire or just a regular Kindle. For more information on the Library's many summer activities and events, visit their website at www.publiclibrary.cc.
