Update: Talladega Woman Killed in Afghanistan

We now have more information on a story we first told you about last night. NATO officials in Afghanistan have confirmed that the attack which killed a Talladega woman Monday morning at the Bagram Air Force base did involve rockets being fired onto the base. Those officials say 54-year-old Krissie K. Davis, who worked for the Defense Logistics Agency at Anniston Army Depot, was one of two civilians riding in a car around 5:35 Monday morning when it was hit by a rocket fired from outside of the base. Ms. Davis was killed in the attack, and the military has not given any more information about the other person in that car. Ms. Davis had been in Afghanistan for less than two months of a planned six-month tour of duty.
