Hobson City is watching city revenue go down the drain – literally – and the problem is so severe it may leave the city’s budget high and dry. Mayor Alberta McCrory says the city has been losing up to half the water in its system for the past several months, and workers have not been able to figure out why. She says the city is turning to state agencies to see if they can help solve the mystery. McCrory says Hobson City is only one mile long, and they have been able to handle water issues in the past. She says the current situation can’t be solved without help from outside the city. McCrory says the water leakage problem has been going on for months, and this is the first time the state agencies have been able to step in. In the meantime, she says the city needs a miracle.
