Calhoun County Schools Names Its Employee of the Month

The Calhoun County Schools Board of Education recognizes one of their Central Office employees for her exemplary work within the school system. Angela Bonds is the Assistant Director of Special Education. She came from a background of special education teaching and worked as a speech and language therapist for many years before finding her way to the Central Office. Bonds has been a Calhoun County Schools employee for 19 years and says that all kids are important and the most rewarding part of her job is seeing the kids make progress and knowing that she had a hand in that progress. Calhoun County Schools Deputy Superintendent Ed Roe has worked with Bonds for 18 years and says she is driven for the children. Calhoun County Schools Special Education Services Executive Director Charlene Hill has worked with Bonds for 10 years and says she is a lot of fun to be around and is fantastic to work with. Bonds is thrilled to be this month’s Employee of the Month and she says that it’s a nice acknowledgement. America’s First Federal Credit Union sponsors the Calhoun County Schools Employee of the Month and provides a $200 gift certificate to each Employee of the Month.
