INT League Makes Stop In Gadsden For Tourney


The City of Gadsden served as host for the INT League which brought a Water Sports tournament to Etowah County. The Gadsden River Walk was the host site for the INT League on Saturday and Sunday. The INT League is a national water sports organization that hosts events all over the country.

They provide competitive events including slalom skiing, wakeboarding, kneeboarding, wakeskating and wakesurfing. In each category, the riders performed tricks at 22mph for 40 seconds. Riders are scored on their ability to complete different tricks and maneuvers. The Alabama INT season continues at Lake Guntersville on Jully 11th and 12th and rolls through mid-September.
