Help Family Find Canine Assistant Dog

A family visiting their relatives over the July 4th Holiday loses their son’s 8-year-old golden retriever service dog and needs your help to find him. Garland is his name and he is the canine assistant dog to an autistic boy. He is 70 pounds and micro chipped. His hair is very light in color and has been cut short for the summer. He is an inside dog and has a green collar that says “Canine Assistant Dog – REWARD”. The family was in the Ohatchee – Alexandria area on Happy Hollow Lane off of 431 when the dog was lost. Owner Alan Hughes says Garland accidently got out of the house and ran into the woods. They searched for hours and could not find the pet. Hughes says they have a hefty reward for his safe return.
