The eight-year-old dog accidentally got out of the house and ran into the woods. Garland was found Wednesday afternoon by Jennifer McCullars of Ohatchee while she was driving. Community volunteers, members of the Cheaha Regional Humane Society, and local law enforcement joined forces to help find the dog. Garland was taken to Animal Medical Center in Anniston for care.
