2 Dollar Gas Expected to Return

Wednesday, July 15, 2015

Analysts say drivers can expect to see a significant drop in gas pump prices this fall… The savings is due in part to a nuclear deal announced today between Iran and six major world powers, including the U-S. Iran hasn’t been able to sell oil to the United States since 1995 because of sanctions imposed on the nation to curb its nuclear program. Once the new deal is in place, Iran would become an added source of crude il, prompting a price drop at the pump. According to Triple-A, the average gas price at U-S stations is now two-dollars and 78-cents for a gallon of regular. Prices were below two-bucks at most gas stations this past winter.
