A physical trainer from Washington D.C. with hometown roots in Calhoun County partners with Kaiser Permanente for a Bike Against Obesity bike ride whose purpose is to create more awareness for youth suffering from obesity. Chris Williamson is the founder of Williamson District and a leading personal trainer, fitness instructor, and health mentor. He cycled all the way from Washington D.C. to Weaver. Today, the city of Weaver presented him with a proclamation. While in town he’ll speak to youth at Camp Lewis - a residential treatment program serving boys 14 through 18 years of age. The goal of the talk is to motivate the young men to not give up on life.
