Two Resignations at Jacksonville City Schools

The Jacksonville City Schools Board of Education accepts the resignation of two of its employees. Jacksonville High School Principal Rick Carter will not return to that post in August. And, Anthony Kingston, Jacksonville City Schools’ technology coordinator also resigned. According to Interim Superintendent Tim Nabors, he will be fulfilling many of the principal’s duties at Jacksonville High School with help from the two assistant principals while the board searches for a long-term replacement. Kingston posted on social media Monday night saying he’d been hired as technology coordinator at Alabaster City Schools. And, according to reports Carter has accepted a position with another system.
