Two Charged With Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia


The DeKalb County Drug Task Force Agent and Alabama State Fire Marshals interrupt drug activity. According to Sheriff Jimmy Harris, on August 3rd they visited a residence on County Road 127 in Fort Payne and encountered methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. They found digital scales, and other drug paraphernalia relating to drug distribution and drug use. Four firearms were also found along with a chainsaw reported to be stolen. Authorities say 33-year-old Anthony Thomas of Fort Payne was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Distribute, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and a Felon in Possession of a Firearm. 40-year-old Marsha Seale, also of Fort Payne was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, 2ND Degree Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and other charges are pending.
