Etowah County Sheriff’s Office Appoints Personnel Board


The Etowah County Sheriff’s Office holds a swearing in ceremony for appointed members of the Etowah County Sheriff’s Office personnel board. The public swearing-in ceremony took place in the multi-purpose room of the Sheriff’s Office. Legislation, sponsored by Representative Mack Butler, was passed in the regular session creating the board that will govern personnel policies and matters concerning employees of the Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff Entrekin and the Etowah County delegation of legislators each made one appointment to the board. The appointees are: Craig Inzer, Jr., appointed by Sheriff Todd Entrekin, Dave Jenson, appointed by Senator Phil Williams, Tim Heard, appointed by Representative Craig Ford, Gina Coggins Price, appointed by Representative Becky Nordgren, and Lana Bellew, appointed by Representative Mack Butler. The establishment of the board ensures the best possible management of Sheriff’s Office personnel. Sheriff Entrekin says it will aid in recruitment and retention of quality employees.
