County Commission Recognizes Two Community Leaders

The Calhoun County Commission recognizes two civic and social leaders at their meeting, today. The commission recognized Deputy Benjamin Kiser for saving the lives of a woman and three children from a burning car.  And, they recognized Calhoun Cleburne District Attorney Brian McVeigh as District Attorney of the Year. McVeigh has served as District Attorney for 4 years.  The award was given by the Investigator’s Association though the D-A’s office.  He was awarded the merit in June.
