Yellow Dot Program at Ohatchee High

Yellow Dot Program

Ohatchee High School students get the opportunity to sign up for a state safety program without even having to leave campus. The Ohatchee Police Department brought its Yellow Dot Program to the school today. Students were allowed to fill out the paperwork and take pictures for the safety campaign. The information goes in the glove compartment of the driver’s car or truck. In the case of an emergency- first responders will have the personal information needed to contact family and find the best medical treatment for the injured person. Principal Bobby Tittle told us this was an opportunity he just couldn’t pass up for the sake of the students. The Yellow Dot Program is open to people of all ages and it doesn’t cost anything to sign up for the service.
