Etowah County Couple Charged with Hindering Prosecution


Authorities arrest two Etowah County residents who are charged in connection to hindering the prosecution of a sexual abuse case. According to Etowah County Sheriff Todd Entrekin 59-year-old Don Harcrow and 46-year-old Sedana Harcrow, both of Attalla, are each charged with one count of first degree hindering prosecution, which is a felony. The Harcrows allegedly had knowledge and failed to report the sexual abuse of a minor. Investigators say that also, they placed the victim in danger when taking the minor to locations near the abuser. Both people were booked into the Etowah County Detention Center and later released on $2,500 bond.
