The stocks of America’s top gun makers are sky-high in the aftermath of last week’s college shooting in Oregon.Smith and Wesson and Sturm Ruger stocks jumped 3-percent Monday. Smith and Wesson had already skyrocketed 80-percent this year. While Sturm Ruger was up 70-percent. That’s despite the fact that this year is shaping up to be the worst for stocks since 2008. The gun stocks are doing well because the sales are going through the roof. Each of those two gunmakers has almost doubled its sales in the last five years. And 2015 could become the best year for sales they’ve ever had.
