Burglary & Theft Arrests in Etowah County


A duo steals more than $48,000 worth of jewelry and guns from a Ford Valley Road home in Etowah County. According to Etowah County Sheriff Todd Entrekin, 22-year-old Jacob Kirkland and 21-year-old Alexandria Stewart, both of Attalla were arrested and charged in connection to the recent burglary. Investigators say, they were arrested Tuesday and are each charged with one count of third degree burglary and one count of first degree theft of property, both are felonies. They also wrongfully took scrap metal from the property. Two of the handguns have been recovered. Kirkland and Stewart were booked into the Etowah County Detention Center and are each being held on $50,000 bond.

In another recent burglary… According to Etowah County Sheriff Todd Entrekin,

an Etowah County man was arrested and charged with one count of third degree burglary and one count of first degree theft of property. 37-year-old Stephen Siemens of Attalla was arrested Tuesday for breaking into a home on Bachelors Chapel Road. He is accused of stealing furniture and miscellaneous collectible items. Several of the items were recovered at Siemens’ house and returned to the rightful owner. Siemens is being held in the Etowah County Detention Center on $7,500 bond.
