A pink Orange Beach fire truck named “Cindy” brings its mission to spread love, hope, and awareness to women and urge them to get regular checkups for all types of cancers to our neck of the woods. This past weekend, the Pink Fire Truck and The Guardians of the Ribbon of Lower Alabama Chapter program’s “Cindy The Pink Fire Truck visited the Anniston Fire Department Station 1. She spends most of her time on the road covering Alabama, Mississippi, and Northwest Florida. “Cindy” raises awareness and has raised more than $100,000 to support cancer-fighting programs for all kinds of cancer, not just breast cancer. “Cindy” is signed by all of the patients and survivors.  Right now, there are 20 pink fire trucks across the country.
