Governor Robert Bentley joins other state and local officials at a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Gnutti Carlo USA Foundry’s new Shelco Foundries factory in Jacksonville. Gnutti Carlo USA employs 181 people with plans to add 20 to 25 more employees by 2016. Governor Bentley says the company has exceeded their promise to the state of Alabama to increase the number of their workforce. The facility is a modern, high volume ductile and grey iron foundry which produces precise castings for companies. Governor Bentley says Gnutti Carlo is a great plant and a great company and he’s glad to have them in Jacksonville. The company invested $18.5 million into this new facility.
