Trouble for the AMTRAK Passenger Train Service

A local train station is at risk of losing its AMTRAK passenger train service if the Congress does not approve additional funds for the train service to automate its long distance tracks. But, although our area seems insignificant- inter-city train service is actually important. Congress has set a December 31 deadline to resolve the issue.
