No. 1 JSU Preps For Austin Peay


After securing a 42-13 win against Tennessee Tech on the road, the JSU football team now sets its eyes on winless Austin Peay this Saturday. THe Gamecocks and Governors will meet on the gridiron for the 26th time and the 12th time in Clarksville. JSU is 16-6-3 all time against APSU and 6-3-2 on the road in the series. The Gamecocks have won the last eight meetings dating back to 1979. JSU is coming off a very impressive performance at Tennessee Tech racking up over 600 yards for the 9th time in school history. JSU's 619 yard performance is good for the sixth-highest in a single game. JSU ranks No. 1 in the latest FCS STATS poll and moved up to No. 2 in the FCS Coaches poll.
