Etowah County Serves Warrants


The Etowah County Sheriff’s Office, 28 law enforcement officers, and other local law enforcement agencies joined forces today to arrest people with outstanding family-violence warrants. Locally, they conducted a total of 107 arrest warrants. By 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, enforcement efforts resulted in the arrests of 34 men and women in Etowah County with existing family-violence arrest warrants. This collaborative effort, in its 13th year, helps raise awareness of the problem of family and domestic violence in our communities. It also demonstrates to offenders that they will be held accountable for their violence.
