House of Representatives Reaches Budget Deal


The House of Representatives passed a budget deal Wednesday despite many Republicans voting against it. The two-year fiscal proposal would increase federal spending and extend the debt limit. Some Republicans championed the bill calling it fiscally responsible…But many Republicans criticized it for easing spending caps and expanding the debt limit. The deal passed despite 167-Republicans voting against it. The proposal lessens the chances of another government shutdown in December.
