Board of Trustees Adds New Members
The Community Foundation of Northeast Alabama Board of Trustees announces the appointment of three new trustees: Anthony Cook, Judge John Edward Rochester and John Stevenson. Anthony Cook joins the Foundation as a representative of Talladega County. Cook will serve on the Audit and Ad-Hoc Strategic Planning Committees. He is employed with The Daily Home as Editor. Judge John Rochester joins the Foundation as a representative from Clay County. Judge Rochester will serve on the Ad-Hoc Strategic Planning and Scholarship Review Committees. He is a retired Circuit Court Judge and holds offices on numerous volunteer and civic organizations. John Stevenson joins the Foundation as a representative from Randolph County. Stevenson will serve on the Audit and Scholarship Review Committees. He is the publisher and president of Randolph Publishers, Inc.Foundation trustees are charged with the responsibility of investing, managing, distributing and evaluating assets from more than 154 charitable funds totaling just over $37 million. The Foundation serves a nine-county area which includes: Calhoun, Cherokee, Clay, Cleburne, Etowah, DeKalb, Randolph, St. Clair and Talladega counties.
