Honor Walk in Gadsden

Veterans and supporters turned out for the Honor Walk in Gadsden, today. This is the second year for the walk. The walk was from the US Federal Building to the old bus depot in Gadsden. Walk organizer Ottie Noble says last year’s walk was the inspiration for today’s event and he’s happy it has happened again. Noble started the walk last year, planning to go it alone. But, word of his campaign spread and many others joined in. This year’s group of veterans continue to walk in loving memory of those taken while serving and those serving now. The walk followed the same path Noble and many other veterans had taken to the bus depot years ago to go to war. Noble says he’s leaving next year up to the people. He says as long as he can walk. He’ll do it.
