Calhoun County’s life-affirming ministry that offers emotional and spiritual help to women affected by unplanned pregnancies recently changed its name. SAV-A-LIFE is now Hope Women’s Services. Hope stands for Providing Help Options and Pregnancy Education. Executive Director Michelle Payne says the vision is the same. Center Director Kathy Pool who has been with the agency for 21 years says the center will continue to offer free, accurate services. Community Relations Representative Julie Wells says the agency will soon host a community open house on January 24th. The agency offers trained volunteers who also present facts concerning fetal development, adoption options, and they share Jesus Christ with each client.
