Someone stole several star gaze displays along with several expensive extension cords from a town’s Christmas display at their local park. The Town of Cedar Bluff is asking for the assistance of the public in helping to locate the person responsible for stealing Christmas lights and extension cords from the Cedar Bluff Town Park. Mayor Tammy Crane said the items were taken sometime around 8:30 on Saturday night, Cedar Bluff Police are currently looking for a Black Chevy Tahoe with black wheels in connection with the incident. An eyewitness in the park Saturday night said that they saw a tall man with a slender build and dark hair approximately 30 to 40 years of age attempting to take the items before he noticed he was being watched. Mayor Crane said that when they find out who is responsible for the theft they will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. If you have any information or if you know who committed this crime you are asked to call Cedar Bluff Police.
