Piedmont Man Arrested for Fraudulent Use

A Piedmont man winds up in jail after being accused of fraudulent use of a credit card. In another report, Sheriff Entrekin says 37-year-old Christopher Sims was arrested and charged with one count of fraudulent use of a debit card. Investigators say Sims is accused of using the stolen credit card at a local convenience store. A video camera inside the store recorded his use of the card. The victim provided investigators with a copy of the credit card statement that showed the amount charged to the card was more than $456. Sims was booked into the Etowah County Detention Center and later released on $2,500 bond.
