The Justice and Civil Rights Initiative President & Founder Ed Moore,III presented the Anniston Police Department a plaque of recognition for their ongoing backing of the organizations operations. The plaque was given during a ceremony in front of The Justin Sollohub Justice Center. Since JCRI's founding in 2013, the Anniston Police Department has partnered with it on state and federal crime reduction projects, drug market intervention programs and helped offenders improve their lives.
