Murder Victim’s Widow Speaks


We're hearing first-hand from the widow of a man gunned down in his own front yard. Two men including an Anniston city jail employee have been charged with murder in the shooting death of 42-year-old Deatrice Barclay. Barclay was gunned down after an altercation with two men in front of his home where gun fire was exchanged. His wife says he was a good man. Calhoun County Chief Deputy Matthew Wade confirmed yesterday that Joshua Parker and Joel Abbott were booked in the Calhoun County Jail. Both men are being charged with Murder for the Friday night death of Barclay. Parker and Abbott are both being held on $500,000 bond.
