Gadsden Kiwanis Pancake Day

Gadsden longest-running social event is back for it's fifty-ninth consecutive year. The Gadsden Kiwanis Club announced today that its annual Pancake Day has been set for Saturday, February 20th, at Convention Hall in Gadsden. The group's pancake day fundraiser began in 1957 and has since grown into one of the largest, one-day Kiwanis fundraisers in the country. Each year, Kiwanis club volunteers serve more than 10-thousand pancakes to thousands of attendees - raising more than 1.6 million dollars over the years. Pancake Day tickets are $5 each and are available from any member of the Gadsden Kiwanis Club or at the door. Doors will open that morning at 6:00am and the pancake breakfast will be served until 2:00pm. Take out plates will be available as well.
