JSU Enters National Championship Game Week

The journey that started on the practice fields in Jacksonville, Alabama in early August will be completed at the FCS National Championship Game in Frisco, Texas this weekend. JSU began game-week preparation on Monday in hopes to return with the school's first title on the FCS level.

The Gamecocks will face North Dakota State- a team making its fifth straight appearance in the championship game. Despite JSU's top ranking for most of the season, the Vegas oddsmakers list the Bison as a three point favorite to win another title and that serves as added motivation for the Gamecocks.

From the first game of the season against Chattanooga this team has consistently talked about keeping preparation the same and with a national title on the line, the message is the same. The Gamecocks leave for Frisco, Texas on Wednesday and play for the title on Saturday at 11:00am on ESPN2.
