Council Votes on E-Cigarette Ban

In other Anniston City Council News the Council voted against lifting a ban on the use of e-cigarettes in public places. All the members of the Council voted against the lifting of the ban except Ward Two Councilman David Reddick. Reddick was also the lone vote to allow hookah bars in the city. Reddick says the hookah bars would have been isolated and not in restaurants. He adds that people should have the right to start a business if they want to and the Council does not have the right to legislate morality. He added that it just wasn’t fair.
