Severe Weather Damage in Aliceville


A large and dangerous tornado tore through Alabama, leaving behind severe damage in towns like Aliceville. Here is damage found on Martin Luther King Road off of County Road 19. The Pickens County EMA says there were multiple injuries throughout the area, but no severe injuries were reported. Homes, power lines, and trees were all destroyed in the area. While the damage was devastating, residents are just thankful to be alive. The Women’s Federal Prison Administrative Buildings were also damaged in the tornado.
