Cherokee Rock Village Park Changes

Cherokee Rock Village Park would like to notify the public about a change in the traffic direction when entering the facility. The entry to Cherokee Rock Village has been re-routed for incoming cars to stay to the right side of the road upon entering the park. For your convenience, you may pay your entry fee from your vehicle at the drive thru window of the cabin. Continue to use the Iron Ranger after park guide hours. Traffic flow through the park is counterclockwise, 1-way traffic. Additionally, the Diamond hiking trail has been re-routed to prevent further erosion along the previous trail head. The new trail detour begins to the right of the old trail just beyond the concrete barricades and is marked by a post with a diamond marker. For more updates from Cherokee Rock Village, you can visit the parks website at
