Two Arrested After Drug Investigation


After a week’s long investigation into the distribution of drugs. The Etowah County Drug Enforcement Unit arrests two men from Gadsden on drug charges. Interim Commander Randall Johnson says, 23-year-old Christopher Gossett has been charged with drug possession. 19-year-old Tristen Griffin has been charged with drug possession. The arrests were made last Thursday at a home on McCoy Street in Gadsden. While executing a search warrant agents recovered two small bags of methamphetamine. Griffin was present and had several outstanding warrants on him. Agents also found a small bag of heroin in Griffin’s pocket. Griffin and Gossett were both taken to the Etowah County Detention Center. Griffin remains in custody. Gossett’s bond was set at $7,500.
