New Year, New Flute

That’s the sound of  a young music student from Jacksonville State University playing his new musical instrument given to him from The Flute Center of New York. The center recently ran a promotion, "New Year, New Flute," through their Facebook page. They received about 100 video entries, including one from the JSU group of students who wanted the musical instrument for their friend Joshua Wilson. And their video won!  JSU Flute Program Graduate Assistant Ariana Stark filmed most of the video, did the editing, and submitted it. Wilson is a freshman majoring in music education from Fairview. According to his friends he is very selfless and giving. Wilson was presented with his new flute today in class in Mason Hall. The concert flute is a partially silver Altus - Azumi model.
